My home away from home. Great country fried steak

A must stop if you're staying in June Lake. For one, it's a classic. Secondly, it's always open! This is a great old school bar and restaurant. Don't expect fancy cocktails but they do have a full bar and some local beers on tap. The menu even has a couple things that can be made vegan which is great considering how few options there are in town.

The staff was really nice, and the pancakes were so soft and good! We enjoyed our breakfast very much.

June Lake would not be June Lake without the Tiger. My family visits the mountain one to two times a year, and our stops at the Tiger are always among the highlights. Super food and drinks, good service, and rustic vibes. I’ve been going here since I was a kid and the magic has never worn off. Tip: go with the patty melt and a JLB Alper’s Trout!

I especially enjoyed the nachos here! Pleasantly surprised when we were told we could order from the lunch menu 1 hour before close. Good prices, kind staff!

Friendly staff but food was served lukewarm and steak was so tough and grisly it couldn't be cut. French onion soup was just plain broth and onions. No croutons/bread or cheese.😥

A great local dinner for hungry hikers. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of home style meals. Don't forget to order a piece of home made peach pie for desert. It's yummy!

Small town bar with great food and good customer service. It's worth a stop or three. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

It was not busy at all. We were standing at the entrance, for a good 5 minutes, three staff at the bar saw us and avoided eye contact. Finally we were seated, my friend ordered a taco salad and received salad without taco, he asked the waitress what beers they had on tab, she said we had light and dark, what do you want? Food tasted old. We are not coming back.

Love going to the tiger and it’s atmosphere, but quite frankly, it is a 2 or 3 in regards to food, nothing special, but with that being said, I’ll be back 100%, for sure. I will say if you want some desert later in the night, their deserts have been good.

No frills bar fare with something for everyone - this place is very popular, so get here early or be prepared to wait 😉 the house bloody Mary is tasty!

Super good food, nice people, for a german the beer were ok. But when its extremly cold outside, you will be happy being inside this wonderful bar. Highly recommended!

This was an really fun joint...the atmosphere was fun and the food was good.

Stopped in for breakfast after fishing on the lake. Wasn't too crowded and staff was extremely friendly. Everything was terrific. Highly recommend.

The Tiger Bar is a great place to go!! Good food be it American or Mexican Love their Italian omelet. The sauce is to die for. My husband absolutely loves the Salmon dinner. You would not think this is where you get great Salmon but you will. You can’t find a better drink and great price in June Lake or surrounding areas Someone said it isn’t busy. Wrong!! Summer is extremely busy

Food is pretty good but the waitress can forget about your drinks or refills at times.

One of the best diners I’ve been to on the road. Staff is friendly and honest. The food is very soulful, I had the French dip and it was very tender with a savory sauce. My wife got the open face hot dog with the extra Tiger chili and she loved it. Best part of the meal was the beer battered French fries, they go great with a side of ranch. Highly suggest if you are staying June Lake or just passing through

Always a great energy here. This may as well be a landmark. It is a bar but they have a good menu and turn out tasty grub.

Whenever we travel to the "east side" of the Sierra, we always plan a stop at the Tiger Bar in June Lake. If you're coming from the north (Reno or Yosemite), take the June Lake Loop for fantastic views, and end up at the Tiger Bar for fantastic "Bloody Mary's" and a fine meal. Don't forget to try the homemade chips - to die for. A real down-home place with great service, good food and drinks. We've been many times, and will absolutely come again. Hope to see you soon!

Good bar, great tigers

THE place to stop by if you ever pass through the 395: get their meatloaf sandwich on sourdough with tiger chips if nothing else!

We enjoyed our breakfast at the Tiger Bar and Cafe. We had the omelets, so good. We would have eaten dinner there but the power went off everywhere and we had to leave before came back on.

Local place in June Lake. Opened late. Nice friendly vibe.

I love the Tiger Bar after a day of hiking or playing in the snow. Service can be a little slow, but all the waiters/waitresses we've had are super nice and you have a great view of the mountains from the window, so it's more like hanging out than waiting. Next time I'm in June Lake I will for sure visit again
